Nemaitonys Hydro

Run-of-river turbine control

A run-of-river plant that used to generate whenever water allowed and sell at whatever the hour paid. We put a controller between the turbine and the market: generation is now shaped against day-ahead and balancing prices, with a battery smoothing the ramp so the connection never trips its export limit.

Head and flow are read continuously through the Bridge, and the plant reports into the same dispatch console as every other asset in the portfolio.

PV generation + storage shifting

A ground-mounted park whose midday peak regularly exceeded what the connection was allowed to export — energy that was simply clipped away. Pairing the array with storage moved that surplus into the evening price peak instead of throwing it on the floor.

Forecast-driven charging keeps the battery empty before the solar ramp and full before the evening window, so clipping and curtailment are both designed out rather than managed.

Containerised battery storage · 2 sites

Two 40-foot containers built for arbitrage and peak shaving on industrial connections. Each holds an LFP string under OPF BMS supervision, a bidirectional inverter and a Bridge gateway — delivered as one unit, energised in a day, dispatching the same week.

Both sites run fully automatic: the optimiser only exports when the interval clears the site price floor, and the SOC reserve is never breached regardless of what the market does.
